The Andorran people approved the Andorran Constitution on March 13th 1993.

  Legislative power.
The "Consell General" (Parliament), 28 members elected by universal suffrage for 4 years. It is a mixed and joint representation of the national population and its 7 administrative division.
  Executive power.
The "Consell General" elects a Head of Government, who appoints the Ministers (6 to 8), to manage the home and international affairs.
  Local power.
The "Comuns" (local Council, local administrative organs, democratically elected, they are public institutions with their own legal personality and local regulation power.
